Keep private credentials, customer data, and unpublished internal files out of your message. A public source is usually the most useful starting point.

Send a public URL, the industry it belongs to, and a sentence about the design decision you think is interesting. A useful navigation pattern, an unusually clear project story, or a thoughtful editing experience is more helpful than a claim that a site is “the best.”
If you own the site, designed it, developed it, or represent it, say so. Suggestions are not a purchase or a guarantee of inclusion; the selection standards still apply.
